Food and circus performances of Ponten Pie and Escarlata Circus
Tàrrega (Lleida), 12 sep (EFE).-The food and its relationship with the circus or entertainment in general has been the subject today at the Fair Street Theater in Tarrega two different assemblies produced by Escarlata Circus and Ponten Pie. Backed by its more than twenty years of experience has given Escarlata Circus Devoris Cause a show performed by Jordi Aspa and Bet Miralta which have delighted, not culinary, viewers. With renewed vision on the world of circus in a tent with limited entry, Aspa has linked food, human condition in a circus show in which the actor playing a role halfway between a bloodthirsty butcher whose wife suppress their instincts, and Gepetto, Pinocchio's father. In an area with large knives hung assembly players welcome people cooking vegetables, vegetables that are put forward as protagonists of history, and shared among the spectators in paper cones.
