The Giant of the 7 Seas, who emerges every day from the waters of the Large Auditorium to make us reflect upon the degradation of the sea, is an unusual construction measuring 12 meters in height and made of fine materials -wood, leather, brass, etc. The immense theatrical machinery that sustains this hybrid, somewhere between a marine creature and a goat, runs on green energy and mechanics, which allows it to come to life in a symbiotic relationship with its keepers. Over twenty acrobats from various countries contribute to the circus aesthetic of this show by La Machine, Escarlata Circus and Deambulants aeris.

Pell de Gallina |
|
Pell de Gallina, 2000:
Is a circus acabaret show interprete by three characters from a circus family dynasty with a long professional history: “Els Perpiñán”. Carlota, José Luis and Andreu Perpiñán serve us a cocktail of circus acts, situations and moments of sheermagic and comedy. Having performed in squares, streets, cabarets around the world and in spite of differences of opinions, the Perpiñan have managed to create a s how which is suitable for theatre venues.
Each act has its own style an d depending on the interpreter, will be either avant garde or traditional.
The whole thing is flavoured with bouts of nostalgia of a dog “long past its prime”, who reveals his daily woes to the troup. The atmosphere of the show, with its costumes and music, produces a creative work of emotion and poetry which produces the sensation of real goose pimples (Pell de Gallina)- with a smile.
Willing to protect themselves from outdoors the company decides to create an indoor show. Their animal repertoire and the originality of the sketches, gives it a curious personality. Show chosen in the “Projecte Alcover”; performed in the Catalan Countries: Balearic Islands, Country of Valencia, Catalonia and Andorra.
